The autumn air always brings out the best things. That starts with great tasting raspberry mead.
This mead began as a tribute to the Oklahoma sunsets, those deep red skies over our ranch. We loved that color and that feeling of openness. When we decided to rename it, we borrowed a name from our daughter and her husband's ranch, Kunoa, the Hawaiian word for freedom. It captures the spirit of wide-open fields and bold flavor.
Kunoa Sunset is made from sweet, tart red raspberries and hibiscus flowers. It pours with a rich red tone that tastes just like a summer sunset. Tasting notes include raspberry, cherry, citrus, and hibiscus.
It is a semi-dry mead at 12% ABV, available in 375 ml and 750 ml bottles.
We are bringing Kunoa Sunset to the Trick or Shop Halloween Market on October 24th at Belk Shopping Center in Owasso. Come by that afternoon to try a glass. We will be there from 4pm until 8pm.
